岁晚惟松竹，于梅伯仲间。

suì wǎn wéi sōng zhú， yú méi bó zhòng jiān。

ㄙㄨㄟˋ ㄨㄢˇ ㄨㄟˊ ㄙㄨㄥㄓㄨˊ，ㄩˊ ㄇㄟˊ ㄅㄛˊ ㄓㄨㄥˋ ㄐㄧㄢ。

藉溪幷白水，着个老屏山。

jí xī bìng bái shuǐ， zhuó gè lǎo píng shān。

ㄐㄧˊ ㄒㄧㄅㄧㄥˋ ㄅㄞˊ ㄕㄨㄟˇ，ㄓㄨㄛˊ ㄍㄜˋ ㄌㄠˇ ㄆㄧㄥˊ ㄕㄢ。

一年将尽时，唯有松树和竹子依然挺立，

它们与梅花情同手足，品格相类。

依傍着溪流与清澈的河水，

装点着那座如屏风般的老山。

In the late years, only pines and bamboos stand firm,

With the plum blossom, they are brothers in spirit.

By the creek and the clear stream, they find their place,

Adorning the old screen-like mountain with grace.

赞岁寒三友之高洁，喻君子之交
