雨后，平坦的原野一片碧绿，
耕种的身影遍布东边的高地。
处处鞭打着黄牛犊，
家家出售着名为“孟劳”的农具。
竹盘里馈赠的是糠麸粗粮，
瓦碗中进献的是溪边野菜。
只愿甘霖充足，风调雨顺，
让汲水的桔槔闲置在屋梁间。

After rain, the open fields turn green,
Across eastern slopes, the plowing is seen.
Everywhere, yellow calves are driven with a whip,
Each household sells its sturdy tools, ready to equip.
Bamboo trays offer chaff and coarse grain as a treat,
Earthen bowls present wild herbs, simple yet sweet.
May ample sweet rain fulfill our heartfelt plea,
And the well-sweep hang idle from the beam, carefree.
