公堂之上，天色将晚，
胥吏来报，监狱已然空荡。
虽然没有春草般的囚犯跪地哀求，
却已有蜘蛛丝在蔓延缠绕。
只听见乌鸦与喜鹊欢快的鸣叫，
再也听不到鹅雁般的囚徒呻吟。
想来这并非片言只语就能断明的案子，
权且发出会心一笑，聊以自慰。

The court grows dim as daylight fades away,
The clerk reports the empty prison's state.
Though no spring grass to plead for guilt is found,
Spider's silk already weaves a tangled fate.
Joyful cries of crows and magpies fill the air,
Gone are the moans of geese, the swan's lament.
It's not that a few words could settle all affairs,
But just to share a smile, a moment's content.
