西风引袂凉云起，鸳桨扶船浮渌水。

xī fēng yǐn mèi liáng yún qǐ， yuān jiǎng fú chuán fú lù shuǐ。

露沁花脂茜粉香，满柄锋芒刺葱指。

西风吹动衣袖，凉云升起，

鸳鸯桨扶持着小船，漂浮在碧绿的水面上。

露水浸润着如胭脂茜草粉般芬芳的荷花，

长满尖刺的荷柄，刺痛了纤嫩的手指。

红绸衣衫半褪，露出明晃晃的金镯，

堤岸上，那年轻的男子偷窥着并哼唱着。

湘江中的暮雨使欢会的约定落空，

各自东西分离，空有目光交汇却无法相聚。

小船在烟波渺茫的江心荡漾，

归途中，歌声边，荷花纷纷飘落。

江水中深藏着绿艳红妖的丽色，

水底的屈原应该也未曾察觉吧。

The west wind lifts my sleeves as cool clouds rise,

With oars like mandarin ducks, the boat floats on green water.

Dew soaks the rouge-like powder of the lotus, fragrant and bright,

Its thorny stem, full of sharp points, pricks the delicate fingers.

Half-slipped red silk reveals a gleaming golden bracelet,

On the bank, a young man peeps and hums a song.

Evening rain in Xiang River shatters the promised joy,

Each goes east or west, their longing eyes meet in vain.

The boat drifts in misty waves at the river's heart,

On the way back, flowers fall where songs were sung.

Green charm and red allure lie deep in the river water,

Qu Yuan beneath the stream should remain unaware.
