古老的寺庙依傍着险峻的山峰，
我信马由缰，沐浴在春风中前行。
猿猴的啼鸣使千树显得幽暗，
入定的僧人与一盏孤灯分外明亮。
野外的溪水沿着台阶潺潺流出，
庭院的莎草在路径两旁丛生。
为何此处仍萦绕着如此多的世俗气息？
只住了一夜，我又要返回江边的城镇。

The ancient temple clings to the rugged peak,
I let my horse roam free in the spring breeze.
Apes' cries darken a thousand trees,
A monk in meditation brightens a single lamp.
Wild water flows out along the steps,
Courtyard sedges grow flanking the path.
Why so much worldly noise and dust?
After one night's stay, I'm back to the riverside town.
