两位贤才，都是对我有益的良友；
两年相处，更觉情谊亲切。
世态人情深奥难以测度；
心中的期许，日久反而更加真挚。
互相看着对方，都已年近五十；
这次分别，倍感酸楚与辛酸。

This man is an ancient soul in the present day.
Two paragons, both are friends who enrich me through and through;
Two years together have made our bond feel dear and gay.
The ways of the world are deep and hard to fathom;

We gaze at each other, both halfway to a century's sum;
This parting thus doubles the bitterness we rue.
