重叠的屋檐敞开之处，承受着槐树的香气熏陶，
仿佛扫尽了江边村落雨后的云霭。
佛法本来没有南方与北方的差异，
只是世间的俗情硬要分出晦暗与光明。
若能领悟此中真意，本无所谓住与不住；
在此之外，不去刻意听闻，反而才是真正的听闻。
谁说建造此楼的人已经离去？
床头的诗版上，还映照着多少个朝晖与夕曛。

The double eaves, where they open wide, receive the locust tree's fragrant breath,
Sweeping away the clouds after rain over the riverside village.
Buddha's Dharma knows no distinction between south and north,
Yet worldly affairs force a separation of darkness and light.
If one dwells within, there is originally no dwelling;
Beyond this, not hearing is precisely true hearing.
Who says the builder of this tower has already departed?
By the bedside, poetic tablets bear the glow of many a dawn and dusk.
