连绵的梅雨停了半日，
两座山间升起了炽热的云霞。
窗户明亮，书中少有蠹虫，
墙壁湿润，帐子里多了许多蚊子。
没有办法清除这暑热，
也没有心思去化解世间的纷扰。
追忆起那些在河朔一带的人们，
倚着扇子，对着炉火熏香，悠闲度日。

Fiery clouds rise from two mountain peaks.
My window bright, books spared from the worm's guile,
Damp walls breed swarms of mosquitoes in streaks.
No way to cool the heat of summer's reign,
Nor heart to disentangle worldly strife.
I recall those north of the river plain,
Fanning themselves by the stove, a leisurely life.
