五种辛辣的菜肴白白摆着，
天干地支的时序已经安排妥当。
井里贮存着屠苏药酒，
庭院中燃烧的树根柴火映照光辉。
纵然让人说又增添了一岁，
我依然怀着美好的心情。

Firecrackers scatter a thousand woes,
From now on, all things shall harmonize.
The five pungent dishes lie untouched,
The sixty-year cycle is set in place.
The well stores the Tusu medicinal wine,
The courtyard glows with the fire of gnarled wood.
Though they say another year is added,
My fine spirits remain as ever unchanged.
