Above the treetops, a bell tower comes in sight.
A guest arrives, dogs greet with barks,
Incense fades, the monk has gone out roaming.
Water flowers gleam in the evening glow,

Wishing to make a plan for dwelling in the hills,
My pledge lies with the white gulls.
