醽醁美酒在芳香的酒器中澄澈荡漾。
装饰着鹤盖的车驾停留，等待宾客的飞舄，
珠圆玉润的歌喉唱出《梅花落》的哀怨惆怅。
薄云般柔滑的是整齐润泽的鬓发，
流雪般飘逸的是楚女纤细腰肢的舞动回翔。
巧笑嫣然，有倾国倾城的妩媚，
雕琢诗章，刻烛催人，才思竞相。
玉盘已空，珍珠仿佛垂泪，
香炉已冷，蕙草燃尽成灰。
在巾角弹棋取胜，技艺高强，
琴心急切，转动琴轸奏出哀伤。
醉卧罗帐，被枕上梦魂惊扰，
愁眉紧锁，怯对梳妆台前的容光。
微风细细，传来更漏稀疏的声响，
犹自唱起《夜来》之曲，歌声悠扬。

Carriages with crane-canopies await the flying shoes' light,
Pearl-like voices lament the falling plum blossoms' plight.
Thin clouds match the sleekness of temples' hair,
Flowing snow rivals the grace of a Chu maiden's waist so fair.
A clever smile, captivating enough to topple a city with its flair,
Carved verses urge the candles to burn, hastening with care.
From the empty plate, pearls seem to shed tears in despair,
In the cold censer, orchid incense turns to ash, bare.
Winning at finger-weaving chess by the kerchief's corner, a victor's air,
The zither's heart, hastened by tuning pegs, sings a mournful air.
Drunk on silk, startled by dreams upon the pillow's lair,
Sorrowful brows shy away from the dressing table's glare.
The gentle breeze carries the sparse sound of the water-clock's slow share,
Yet songs still rise, "Arise in the Night," filling the air.
