（它像）辞官隐居于大谷，怎肯干涉时务？
陈列于座间，风姿特地奇妙。
香气透骨，衣衫也隔不住，
胸中如怀冰雪，只有牙齿最能知晓。
卖浆人捣碎琼玉成为汁液，
卸去外壳，正爱怜那如玉的肌肤。
老夫醉醺醺的，全然谢绝访客，
但见到它（指梨），急忙倒穿着鞋出迎，只嫌太迟。

Retired in the great valley, would it meddle with the times?
Placed as a seat's adornment, its grace is uniquely wondrous.
Fragrance from the bone, no robe can keep it in,
Ice and snow in the breast, only the teeth truly know.
The juice seller crushes and pounds jade into sap,
Shedding armor, one pities the jade-like flesh.
This old man, drunk, utterly declines guests,
