就着露水咀嚼野生的菊花。

The water's hue is pure white at its core,
But gathers depth and turns to emerald green.
What magic did the River Goddess pour,
To soften this vast jade of thousand-mile sheen?
The poet, still in wine's embrace, not yet awake,
Drinks swiftly the whole stream's lucidity.
With nothing else his thirst and soul to slake,
He chews wild chrysanthemums, dewdrops and all, in clarity.
