上天蕴藏，万物萌发，自有灵性的根源，
如玉的乳汁、似银的浆液，岂能轻易分辨？
明净的镜子高悬空中，寒意中自我映照，
流动的珠玉落入山涧，远处先闻其声妙。
湿润之气缓缓催生了双林间的细雨，
芬芳从朦胧笼罩的一口井的云烟中飘出。
今日在这石鱼游动之地，我们行酒宴饮，
元结（次山）定会再次为此题刻铭文。

Heaven hides, things stir, a spiritual root lies here,
Jade milk and silver nectar—how could they part, so clear?
A pure mirror hangs in the void, cold, self-illumined,
Flowing pearls fall in the ravine, their distant sound foretold.
Moisture begets softly the rain on twin groves' ground,
Fragrance drifts out from the misty clouds one well has crowned.
Today, where stone fish swim, we pass the wine around,
Cishan once more would carve his record, profound.
