白话文翻译
黄河从昆仑山决口奔涌而出，
如果没有大禹治水，我们早已成为鱼鳖。
龙门虽然已经被开凿疏通，
但谁又能乘着犀栧木筏逾越这险阻？
一位老翁披散着头发，鬓角如银丝，
面对激流想要渡河——可要去往何方？
老妇劝阻、挽留，求他不要渡河，
老翁不听老妇的话，舍弃她离去。
在河流中央，他倚仗着一个葫芦，
以为它像千金一样稳固可靠。
一个葫芦终究无力支撑，
他千金之躯沉没于波涛之中。
葫芦啊葫芦，你是老翁的祸祟！
正当鼍龙怒吼、鲸鲵吞食，得意猖狂。
乐曲终了，哀怨之情从箜篌声中倾泻而出，
邻家女子为你落下两行热泪。

The river burst forth from the Kunlun peaks,
Without Yu, we'd all be fish in the floods.
Though the Dragon Gate has been hewn and pierced,
Who could cross it on a raft of rhinoceros wood?
An old man, hair and temples white as silk,
Stands by the torrent, wishing to cross—but to where?
His wife pleads, stops him, begs him not to go,
He ignores her pleas, leaves her, and departs.
Midstream, he relies on a single gourd,
Thinking it worth a thousand pieces of gold.
The gourd's strength cannot hold,
His body, like gold, sinks beneath the waves.
O gourd, o gourd, you were the old man's folly!
While crocodiles roar and whales devour in triumph.
The song ends, sorrow pours from the konghou's strings,
Neighboring girls shed twin tears for you, sir.
