羽林军士们已厌倦了弓箭，觉得削木为弓、张弦不过是儿戏。
我公（指主持者）的号令何等精明，武库森严，各种兵器闪耀寒光。
威势震慑了北方骄横的部族，安定了京城，自汉朝以来少有能及。
不费一兵一卒就收服了民心，北方边境安宁，战尘与警报都已平息。
自古以来，善于用兵者必先巩固根本；这是永存的道理，昭然若揭。
应当将这些功业铭刻在鼎钟之上，让这光辉的业绩流传万代。

The Son of Heaven arms against unforeseen threats; chariots and weapons are readied in the Eastern Capital.
The Imperial Guards, weary of bows and arrows, find carving wood and stringing bows mere child's play.
How precise are my lord's commands! The armory stands stern, gleaming with all five kinds of weapons.
His might shakes the proud nomads, securing the capital—a feat rarely matched since the Han.
The people's hearts are won without a single battle; the northern frontier is pacified, dust and alarms cease.
From ancient times, those who excel in war first secure their own realm; this is the eternal rule, clear as the sun.
Let us inscribe this on the cauldrons and bells, to proclaim these glorious deeds for ten thousand generations.
