滔滔的西江水奔流不息，
推送着我的小舟行至沙岸之边。
当时为我送行的那些客人，
都劝我不要在外长久羁留。
当面交谈的情景宛如昨日，
庭院中的树叶忽然又到了秋天。
人生中寸心所愿总是相违，
用什幺才能消解我心中的忧愁？

Bearing my boat along the sandy shore.
Those who saw me off, in times of yore,
Urged me not to linger long, you know.
Our parting words seem spoken yesterday,
