黄粱饭已煮熟，刚从梦境中醒来，
匆匆捆好行囊，催促着踏上旅程。
手里提着杖头，并用袖子裹住手，
呵出的气息在胡须上，感到冰寒滋生。
山峦衔着北斗星柄，只见两三点星光，
篱笆根处传来四五声犬吠。
哪里的梅花开得比较早呢？
清幽的香气暗中飘来，牵动了作诗的情思。

The millet cooked, from dreams I just awake,
I pack in haste, the journey to undertake.
My walking stick in hand, sleeves wrapped around,
My breath on beard turns icy, frost is found.
The mountain holds the Dipper, two or three stars gleam,
At the fence roots, four or five barks from a dog's dream.
Where do the plum blossoms bloom the earliest of all?
Their subtle fragrance stirs poetic thoughts to recall.
