花树移方活，丁宁莫损残。

huā shù yí fāng huó， dīng níng mò sǔn cán。

ㄏㄨㄚㄕㄨˋ ㄧˊ ㄈㄤㄏㄨㄛˊ，ㄉㄧㄥㄋㄧㄥˊ ㄇㄛˋ ㄙㄨㄣˇ ㄘㄢˊ。

待逢春气暖，开与后人看。

dài féng chūn qì nuǎn， kāi yǔ hòu rén kàn。

酒任随车载，诗从就柱刊。

jiǔ rèn suí chē zài， shī cóng jiù zhù kān。

料应吟赏处，说着种时难。

白话文翻译

花树刚刚移植成活，恳请千万不要损伤摧残。

等到春日气息转暖，再开花给后来的人观赏。

任凭酒随车装载而去，诗篇就刻在柱子上刊行。

料想将来吟赏的地方，人们会说起当初种树艰难。

英文翻译

The transplanted tree, now taking root, I plead: do not harm its tender state.

Wait till the breath of spring warms the air, then let its blossoms open for those who come late.

Let wine be carried as the cart may bear; let verses be inscribed on pillars, firm and straight.

I think of where they'll chant and admire, and speak of how hard it was to plant and wait.
