叠起石块导引川流之水，
分流灌溉波及如云的庄稼。
万顷波涛惊动，使夜晚如同白昼；
历经千古，看来依然如新。
更有那朝向宗族（或指大海）的水脉，
它的声势与容貌不独属于鄞地。

His heart keen as Yu's, for the people's cause.
Stones piled to channel the river's flow;
Waters shared to nourish crops that grow.
Ten thousand waves startle, night turns to day;
A thousand years see it fresh as if yesterday.

Its sound and form not solely for Yin's embrace.
