黄梅时节细雨蒙蒙，
凝结的云团盘绕不散。
心里知道这雨滋养着禾苗庄稼，
眼中却只见到青苔不断滋长。
密实的竹箱几乎被浸湿，
高墙的形势眼看就要倾颓。
任凭这郁闷的湿热蒸腾，
谁能懂得取金罍来斟酒解忧呢？

A drizzling rain falls in the yellow plum season,
Condensed clouds coil and will not break apart.
My heart knows it nurtures the seedlings and crops,
But my eyes see only moss growing long.
The dense bamboo case is almost soaked through,
The high wall's structure seems about to collapse.
Let the stifling heat steam and swelter as it will,
Who understands how to pour from the golden wine jar?
