明月的光辉也是清澈的，
清风没有沾染丝毫尘埃。
村中的孩童被催促着去睡觉，
乡野的老者前来询问禅理。
这是赏心乐事的夜晚，
（更有）梅花沐浴在清风明月之中。
夜深时分，万籁俱寂，
猿与鹤啊，请莫要互相猜疑。

The moon's light is pure and clear,
The breeze is free of any mote or smear.
The village children are urged to sleep,
An old rustic comes to ask about Zen deep.
A night of joy that pleases the heart,
Plum blossoms under the pure breeze and moon apart.
Late at night, all sounds grow still,
Monkeys and cranes, harbor no suspicion or ill.
