定州产的红花瓷瓶，
用块石培育着灵秀的幼苗。
正含苞待放的是水仙花，
它的名字叫作“玉霄”。
它刚从福建、浙江一带而来，
绿色的绶带簇拥着翠绿的枝条。
十朵花儿冒在枝头，
每一朵都像白鹭振翅翘立。
粉色的花蕊间杂着黄与白，
清雅的香气随风飘散。
回头遥望天台山，
更认识了胆瓶中的蕉叶（或指水仙叶）。

A Dingzhou red porcelain vase, a fine piece of art,
Where rocks nurture a spiritual seedling, set apart.
Tight buds sprout into daffodils, pure and serene,
Their name is 'Jade Firmament,' a celestial scene.
They came from Min and Yue, lands far to the south,
With green ribbons embracing emerald stems, no doubt.
Ten blossoms crown their tips, reaching for the sky,
Each like an egret's plume, poised and soaring high.
Pink stamens mingled with hues of yellow and white,
A fresh fragrance carried by the wind, pure and light.
Looking back toward Tiantai Mountain, distant and grand,
I better know the plantain in the vase, close at hand.
