雪神巧妙地呈现祥瑞之兆，
平白铺就一尺高的洁白。
凛冽的霜风开始生成，
趁夜呼啸，声音如同号哭。
冰凌条条，好似玉制的筷子，
瓦缝如同镜子，涂上了银膏。
茅草屋檐顿时像暴富一般，
掩映的光彩何等奢华豪奢。
晶莹的光芒惊动了街坊邻里，
孩童们羡慕不已，争相观看。
此刻它凭借轻脆的资质，
却坚称自己能千年牢固。
一旦阳明之气上升，
便消融殆尽，不留丝毫。
哪里只是这冰如此呢？
人世间的事情也是这样滔滔变幻。

The Snow God skillfully displays his auspicious sign,
A pure white blanket, one foot high, lies plain to see.
The frosty wind, fierce and biting, begins to rise,
Carrying through the night a sound like howling cries.
Icicles hang like jade chopsticks, clear and long,
The tile seams are mirrors coated in silver cream.
The thatched eaves suddenly seem possessed of vast wealth,
Dazzling in their reflection, how lavish they gleam!
The crystalline light stirs the whole neighborhood,
The children watch, filled with envy and admiration.
Now, in this brittle and fragile state,
It claims a solidity to last a thousand years.
But once the sun's bright warmth begins to climb,
It melts away, without a trace, without a tear.
Why think this phenomenon alone is so?
The affairs of this world are just as transient, you know.
