春天的云凝结成三日的连绵雨，
北风将其吹作一尺厚的积雪。
纷纷扬扬飘落在地，如玉的花朵般凌乱，
皎洁的光芒映照门户，似虹彩般焕发。
手持一杯酒，相对着老妻（或指老友），
在寒窗下痴痴坐着，看灯火明灭。
踏雪去观赏梅花也不算坏事，
但月夜登上西楼，景致更是清幽绝伦。

Spring clouds congeal into three days of rain,
The north wind blows it into a foot of snow.
Fluttering down, jade blossoms scatter in disarray,
Gleaming bright, rainbow light from the window glows.
A cup in hand, I face my old companion,
By the cold window, lost in thought, the lamp's light flickers.
Treading snow to view the plum blossoms is not bad either,
But the moonlit night on the west tower is even more pure and rare.
