竟敢夺取雨神的权柄？
溪水弥漫，水流上涨，
屋檐水溜如瀑布高悬翻腾。
占卜预示丰年稻谷饱满，
欢欣地洗涤宴席的盘盏。
我这疏懒之人何等幸运，
在茅斋中安稳地白日酣眠。

Who dares to claim the drought fiend's tyranny,
Would dare to seize the Rain God's sovereign might?
The streams swell up, their waters spreading wide,
From dripping eaves, cascades are hung in sight.
The augury foretells a harvest fine,
With joy we cleanse the feast mats, pure and bright.
What fortune grants this idler's humble lot?
In thatched hut, soundly sleeping through daylight.
