人间的炊烟被天边的云霞隔断。
盗贼侵扰了邻家田地的粮食，
女儿寄居在外祖父的家中。
野生的树木从尖刺中长出叶子，
枯老的松树被藤蔓缠绕着开花。
老翁的头发尚未斑白，
我们相对而坐，谈论着遥远的天涯。

Human smoke is severed by the sunset's trace.
Thieves invade the neighbor's field of grain,
My daughter seeks refuge where her grandsire's lain.
Wild trees sprout leaves from thorns so keen,
Withered pines with vines and blossoms are seen.
The old man's hair is not yet white,
We talk of the world's ends in the fading light.
