只剩下通往湓浦的路还未走，
未能满足白公（白居易）的心意。
像属国使臣般陈述三份表章，
归乡的船帆轻拂着东林、西林二寺。
远公（慧远）堂上的美酒啊，
可以让我纵情狂放地吟诗。

Having searched all the southern hills along the road.
Yet the path to Pen Ford remains in my sight,
Unfulfilled is Master Bai's old delight.
As a vassal state, three petitions I'd send;
My homebound sail brushes the Twin Groves, my friend.
The wine in Far Master's hall, so fine and free,
Allows my wild chants to soar in ecstasy.
