船帆随着潮水一同上涨，
烟雾连接着江岸，都显得一样平齐。
江南的花蕊带着寒冷的信息，
孤雁传来塞北的叫声。
诗写成了，不要高声朗诵，
怕会惊动那老龙。

My short oar rests at the new town's shore,
Where the river is wide and winds easily roar.
The sail ascends together with the rising tide,
Mist joins the bank, both level and wide.
Cold blossoms bring news from the southern stream,
A lone goose cries with a northern frontier's scream.
The poem is done—refrain from reading it aloud,
Lest the ancient dragon be startled from its cloud.
