采摘薇菜时还记得彼此思念的地方，
煮豆之时却浑然忘却了共泣的时光。
莫要让你的诗名埋没在塞北之地，
归来故国，一同观赏那梅花的枝条。

Speaking of this, who can hold back his tears?
And you say for ten years no word came your way;
Who, over a thousand miles, most yearns and fears?
Picking ferns, I still recall where longing grew;
Boiling beans, we forget the time we wept together.
Do not let your poetic fame sink in the northern frontier;
Return to our homeland and gaze upon the plum branches.
