云雾缭绕的楼阁漏下微弱的月光，
长江的江面因此映照得半明半亮。
我的心追随着远去的帆影飘向远方，
江鸥好似我的身体一般自在轻扬。
古往今来多少王朝兴衰更替，
唯有山川地貌从未改变形迹。
我倚着栏杆吟咏诗句尚未停歇，
又听见潮水拍岸，声声不绝。

The cloud-wreathed towers admit a faint gleam of light,
The Long River catches half of it, shimmering bright.
My heart sails far away with the distant sail's trace,
The gulls seem as carefree and light as my own pace.
How many dynasties have risen and declined?
Yet mountains and rivers remain, unchanged, defined.
Leaning on the rail, my chant is not yet done,
When slap-slap, the tide returns, its course begun.
