庭院中的竹子簇拥成高高的丛簇，
我移动床榻去靠近那怡人的凉风。
掩上房门，不再理会外界的俗务，
倚靠着几案，静坐进入忘我的境界之中。
世间万事万物，究竟算得上什幺？
人心若能了悟，便知一切本是虚空。
若有客人来访，请不要追问缘由，
这番意境浩渺无边，无穷无尽。

Tall bamboos cluster in the courtyard, dense and high,
I move my bed to catch the cooling breeze passing by.
I shut the door, renouncing all affairs of the world outside,
Leaning on the desk, I sit in oblivion, with nothing to hide.
What, after all, are the affairs of this world? A fleeting show.
Once the mind understands, all is emptiness, as we know.
Should a guest come, do not ask me why or how;
This feeling is vast and boundless, beyond any vow.
