石阶小道沿着城墙蜿蜒，离得很近，
围墙圈占的土地十分幽静。
这轩窗布局是谁规划指点？
这砚台书席任我悠闲度日。
不让官府的文书簿册到来，
唯恐它们玷污了图册史书的清雅。
我的心原本就安适自在，
又何必刻意寻找地方去忘却忧愁？

The courtyard walls enclose a tranquil space.
Who designed the windows and the hall?
Here I find leisure, my desk my place.
No official papers are allowed to intrude,
Lest they shame the books and maps that reside.
