林木摧折，祠堂的厅堂也已倾颓，
其中供奉的塑像更是横七竖八地散落。
狂放的巫师跳跃踏舞，乡野老人跪拜，
用瘦弱的鸡和淡薄的酒来邀请神明降临。
他们的形貌诡谲怪异，如蛇虺般混乱，
他们的声音丑恶刺耳，像鸱枭在鸣叫。
灾祸降临于牛，厄运也加诸犬只——
世间存在这样的事，又怎能得到太平？

The woods are broken, the temple hall leans askew,
Within, the statues lie scattered in disarray.
Wild shamans prance while village elders bow in fear,
With skinny fowl and thin wine, they call gods to appear.
Their forms are monstrous, like serpents coiled in a nest,
Their voices ugly, like owls screeching without rest.
Disaster strikes the ox, misfortune dogs the hound—
When such things plague the world, how can peace be found?
