苍翠的两三枝竹子，
连同冻结的土块一起被移栽。
我随即吟诗以酬答它们安身之处，
并立刻刻字记录下栽种的时刻。
它们已经任凭雪花频频洒落，
也未曾禁受住寒风的苦苦吹袭。
隐居之人的内心已感到满足，
那千亩竹林又有什么值得嗤笑的呢？

Two or three branches, lush and green,
Were moved with the frozen clods, close and keen.
I chanted verses where they found their place,
And carved the time of planting on the base.
They've borne the frequent fall of snow,
And stand against the bitter winds that blow.
The recluse's heart is fully content,
