北斗星的斗柄指向寅位，旧时的景象复还。
历经三朝，心中思念着北方的宫阙，
以万寿无疆的祝词敬献南山。
我惭愧地忝列于金马门的名籍之中，
却遥远地离开了玉笋般整齐的朝班。
在这山城中滞留，踪迹濡染难行，
遥望太阳，心中怀想天子的容颜。

The new tune of clustered pipes responds to the season's turn,
The old view returns as the Dipper's handle points to Yin.
For three dynasties, thoughts turn to the northern palace gate,
A myriad of longevities are wished upon the Southern Mountain.
I shamefully hold a place among the golden gates' registry,
Yet remain far from the jade bamboo rows of courtiers.
Trapped by traces in this mountain town, I linger on,
Gazing at the sun, I yearn for the Emperor's face.
