树叶凋落，眺望的视野才开始辽远，
阴沉的景象，又能怎么办呢？
遥远的山峦被四面闭合的云层封锁，
飞舞的雪花与天空两相融合。
天色惨淡，景物显得愈加短促，
楼台高耸，寒意更加深重。
凝神地徒然引颈远望，
鸿鹄飞过，却不知晓我的凝望。

With leaves fallen, the view stretches far and wide,
How to bear the gloom, somber and deep?
Distant hills are shut by clouds on every side,
Whirling snow and sky in a mingled sweep.
The sky bleak, the scene grows shorter still,
The tower high, the cold intensifies.
Gazing fixedly, my eyes empty fill,
As swans pass by, unknowing of my sighs.
