身着官袍的众人纷沓离去，
空旷的试院中只剩一片寂寥。
云散天晴，原野显得格外辽阔，
潮水退去，夜晚的江面一片空寂。
难以穷尽对文章优劣的鉴别，
终究在公正的议论上还是有所欠缺。
岂敢抱怨在此淹留的朝朝暮暮，
归家的翅膀仍被束缚在牢笼之中。

The courtyard locked, now silent, deep, and long.
Clouds clear, the wild plain stretches vast and bright,
Tides ebb, the night river empties into light.
Hard to exhaust the judgment of fine prose,

Dare I complain of days and nights detained?
My wings, though homing, in a cage remain.
