诗坛一何峻，寻盟休论且。

shī tán yī hé jùn， xún méng xiū lùn qiě。

ㄕㄊㄢˊ ㄧㄏㄜˊ ㄐㄩㄣˋ，ㄒㄩㄣˊ ㄇㄥˊ ㄒㄧㄡㄌㄨㄣˋ ㄑㄧㄝˇ。

弟子性嗜酒，白莲许入社。

dì zǐ xìng shì jiǔ， bái lián xǔ rù shè。

ㄉㄧˋ ㄗˇ ㄒㄧㄥˋ ㄕˋ ㄐㄧㄡˇ，ㄅㄞˊ ㄌㄧㄢˊ ㄒㄩˇ ㄖㄨˋ ㄕㄜˋ。

寒水巫阳峡，暮日苍梧野。

hán shuǐ wū yáng xiá， mù rì cāng wú yě。

大雅久不闻，今侯真作者。

诗坛是多么高峻啊，

让我们缔结盟约，不必再论及其他。

弟子的天性嗜好饮酒，

白莲社允许我加入其中。

寒凉的江水穿过巫阳峡谷，

暮色笼罩着苍梧的原野。

大雅之音已经很久没有听到了，

如今您（丁簿）真是能创作此音的作者。

How steep the summit of the poetry realm stands!

Let's forge our bond, no need for idle talk or plans.

This disciple's nature craves the wine's delight,

And the White Lotus grants him entry to the rite.

Cold waters flow through the Wu Yang Gorge's deep shade,

The evening sun sets on Cang Wu's wild glade.

The grand, refined style has long been out of ear,

Now, my lord, a true creator does appear.
