整日里没有别的念头，
孤独而清静，怀着吏隐之心。
竹声与雪声一同清脆地碎裂，
溪水的颜色与暮烟一同变得深浓。
数次呼吸，闲适地倚靠着几案；
因情所感，默默地将心绪寄托于琴音。
有谁知道我们同处于寂寞之中，
却因此相互结为知音。

All day long, no other thought intrudes,
Alone, serene, a hermit's heart in official robes.
The sound of bamboo, with snow, shatters crisply,
The stream's hue deepens, mingled with mist.
Counting breaths, I lean idly on the armrest;
Moved by feeling, I silently entrust it to the lute.
Who knows we share this solitude,
And thus become kindred spirits?
