东风并不懂得世态人情，
却也吹到了这幽深山谷中。
是谁分来了玄都观的桃种，
为我营造出这一片春景？
清晨以来花香温暖袭人，
诗人的眼睛先自陶醉其中。
只愁花儿贪恋结出果实，
在烟雨时节便凋零飘落。
听说如今新的小路已修成，
有酒就请频频摆设共饮。

The east wind shows no worldly bias in its flight,
And reaches even this secluded vale with light.
Who shared the seeds from the Mystic Capital's grove,
To bring me spring's affair, a gift from above?
At dawn the flowers' warm fragrance fills the air,
My poet's eyes grow drunk before I'm aware.
I only fear their greed to bear fruit soon,
And fall in mist and rain, beneath the waning moon.
I hear a new path through the garden is complete,
So bring the wine, and let us frequently meet.
