山水之中足可娱，田园数亩任荒芜。

shān shuǐ zhī zhōng zú kě yú， tián yuán shù mǔ rèn huāng wú。

论交惟有诗知己，把酒相忘月与吾。

lùn jiāo wéi yǒu shī zhī jǐ， bǎ jiǔ xiāng wàng yuè yǔ wú。

白话文翻译

在山水之间足以获得乐趣，

几亩田园任凭它荒芜。

论及交友，只有诗歌是知己，

举起酒杯，便忘了月亮和我自己。

秀美的石头被泉水冲刷，清澈得可作砚台，

孤独的山峰挂着落日，景色值得描画。

可怜那正直的节操如同松树般刚劲，

刚被秦始皇封为“五大夫”松。

Amidst the hills and streams, enough joy I find,

A few acres of fields and gardens I let lie waste.

In making friends, only poetry knows my mind,

With wine in hand, I forget the moon and myself in haste.

Clear water washing over fine rocks makes an inkstone pure,

A lone peak catching the sun's rays forms a picture grand.

Alas, the straight and sturdy pine, so strong and sure,

Was just enfeoffed by the Qin as "Grandee" of the land.
