盛德师千古，髙名满四方。

shèng dé shī qiān gǔ， gāo míng mǎn sì fāng。

ㄕㄥˋ ㄉㄜˊ ㄕㄑㄧㄢㄍㄨˇ，ㄍㄠㄇㄧㄥˊ ㄇㄢˇ ㄙˋ ㄈㄤ。

位登三品贵，身任百夫防。

wèi dēng sān pǐn guì， shēn rèn bǎi fū fáng。

ㄨㄟˋ ㄉㄥㄙㄢㄆㄧㄣˇ ㄍㄨㄟˋ，ㄕㄣㄖㄣˋ ㄅㄞˇ ㄈㄨㄈㄤˊ。

公在衣冠重，公归远近伤。

gōng zài yì guān zhòng， gōng guī yuǎn jìn shāng。

他盛大的德行足以师法千古圣贤，

他崇高的名声传遍了四面八方。

官位登至三品，尊贵显赫，

身负统领百夫、拱卫防务的重任。

您在朝为官时，衣冠仪制因您而显庄重，

您如今归去，无论远近之人都感到悲伤。

哀悼与荣宠贯穿了这始末的仪典，

褒扬的典制就体现在这徽章之上。

His noble virtue rivals the ancients of a thousand years,

His lofty fame spreads far and wide across the four directions.

He attained the high rank of the third grade, honored and revered,

He bore the duty of guarding a hundred men, a stalwart defense.

While in office, his presence lent gravity to the court's robes and caps,

Now that he has departed, both near and far are filled with sorrow.

The mourning rites, from start to end, honor his life's journey,

The commendatory decree is inscribed upon the glorious insignia.
