白话文翻译
腐朽的草逐渐得到雨露的润泽，
轻盈地完成了（化萤的）神奇变化之功。
（萤火虫）分取光芒，使衣裳显得炫丽，
乘着黑暗奋力飞升到空中。
自我显耀是因为依靠自身的光亮存在，
虽然数量众多，却吹不来温暖的微风。
偶然因为灯油与烛火都已燃尽，
才得以来到这高耸的窗中。

From rotting grass, the timely dew brings forth a change profound.
In flight, they manifest the work of transformation's round.
Their light adorns the robes, a dazzling, shimmering sight.
Through darkness, they exert their force, ascending in the night.
They shine to show themselves, by their own radiance known.
Though many, they bring no warmth, in chilly breezes blown.
By chance, when oil and flame are utterly consumed,
They reach the solitary window, in the gloom entombed.
