行李偶然间伴我向南远行。
这片土地带着长沙的潮湿，
河流与清澈的湘水相通。
凄凉地怀念屈原与贾谊，
天空辽阔，云层平展，无边无际。

The road winds through Changjiang's perilous pass,
My horse's hooves dance light on the grassy mass.
Like drifting duckweed, I sigh for my distant post;
By chance, my journey leads me to the southern coast.
The land is damp, near Changsha's marshy ground;
The river flows, where Xiang's clear waters are found.
In sorrow, I recall Qu Yuan and Jia Yi's plight—
Under the vast sky, clouds stretch level, out of sight.
