竹笋从寒冷的玻璃般溪水中蓦然跃出，身披坚硬的甲壳，流淌着腥湿的汁液。
它使枯槁者复苏、转为丰茂的功劳难以言表；天帝说："我将报答你，让你的后代繁衍昌盛。"
有的居住在渭水之滨，有的在淇园的竹林中；有一支逃入了荒凉的矶石水湾。
此后它们生养儿子，儿子又生养孙子；头角崭然，闯入了我的篱藩。
在数寸之间积聚着拂云的力量；精华不曾泄漏，真正的滋味得以保全。
火神祝融与水神玄冥效命奔走；茭白的心、芦苇的芽面对它都羞愧难当。
竹叶与你本是同根所生；如同胶与漆相合，没有隔阂之言。
当家者的清风洒遍天地；我不敢用荤腥之物玷污它。

The bamboo shoots leap from the cold glassy stream, their bodies armored, oozing a pungent trace.
Reviving the withered, their merit is beyond words; the Emperor says: "I reward you with thriving heirs."
Some dwell by the Wei River, some in Qi's bamboo grove; one branch escaped into the desolate rocky bay.
Thereafter they bore sons, and sons bore grandsons; their sharp heads thrust boldly into my domain.
Between the clouds, their force is pent in inches; their essence unspilled, the true flavor remains whole.
The fire god and water god race in service; the hearts of water plants and reed shoots blush with shame.
Bamboo leaves and you share the selfsame root; like glue joining lacquer, no discord between.
The master's pure breeze sweeps through heaven and earth; I dare not stain it with meat or rank smell.
