宗室重臣在上巳节设宴于东池，雅士与俗客等众多嘉宾齐聚之时。
修禊的宴席设在临近水边，鲜花照耀，出游的车马在分岔的道路上沿着曲折的流水行进。
最令人赏心悦目的，是只愿让百姓安居乐业。
纵情饮酒时，仍担忧在座的宾客会感到疲倦。
唯独祈愿我公（指主持宴会的宗臣）能重归权柄，被朝廷任用。
使普天之下都能融汇于春天般和煦光明之中。

A feast by the Xingqing Pool on the Shangsi Day, attended by the esteemed minister and guests of all walks.
The banquet by the winding stream is adorned with blooming flowers, reflecting in the water.
Carriages and visitors scatter along the paths that follow the meandering shore.
The joy of the heart lies solely in sharing happiness with the people.
Yet, even in unrestrained drinking, one worries the seated guests may grow weary.
My only wish is for our lord to return to power and governance.
So that the whole world may be bathed in the harmony of spring's radiance.
