半夜钟声殷寺廊，吹螺打鼓助铮𫓩。

bàn yè zhōng shēng yǐn sì láng， chuī luó dǎ gǔ zhù zhēng cōng。

ㄅㄢˋ ㄧㄝˋ ㄓㄨㄥㄕㄥㄧㄣˇ ㄙˋ ㄌㄤˊ，ㄔㄨㄟㄌㄨㄛˊ ㄉㄚˇ ㄍㄨˇ ㄓㄨˋ ㄓㄥㄘㄨㄥ。

不妨白日开门睡，更遣阇梨饭后撞。

bù fáng bái rì kāi mén shuì， gèng qiǎn shé lí fàn hòu zhuàng。

半夜里，钟声轰鸣，震动着寺院的回廊，

吹响法螺，敲打锣鼓，更助长了这铿锵的声响。

不妨就在大白天敞开门户安然入睡，

再让那寺院里的僧人，在饭后也来撞钟一场。

At midnight, the bell's boom fills the temple's long corridor,

Conch shells blow and drums beat, adding to the clangor.

Why not sleep with the door wide open in broad daylight?

And let the monk strike it again after his meal, with might.
