（朝廷）赐予爵位，恩泽可传千载，
皇恩从深远的宫禁中颁布下来。
诰命文书上是金色的篆体字，
（她佩戴的）珩珮如同玉环相连。
像陶母那样的贤母如今有了后代继承，
（子孙）不再穿着彩衣（尽孝，因母已逝）。
哀伤的挽歌正适合牵引灵柩的绳索，
徒然只有泪水不断地流淌。

Imperial grace descends from the ninefold gate.
The edict's words in golden seal script cast,
Her jade pendants linked, a harmonious state.
The mother of Tao now has heirs to carry on,
No longer in motley clothes of filial display.
A mournful dirge is fit to pull the funeral thong,
Yet only tears in endless streams hold sway.
