欧阳修（六一居士）曾移书责备司谏官，
石介（聱隅子）听闻任命就避居徂徕山。
这种刚直的风气很久没有出现了，
你的所作所为是多幺豪壮啊。
在朝的诸位公卿应当感到惭愧，
那些趋炎附势的小人胆量应被摧毁。
必须自始至终保全名声与节操，
不要让内心随着利禄而动摇回转。

Ao Yu, hearing the command, avoided Cu Lai.
This spirit has not been practiced for a long time,
What you do, my friend, is truly magnificent.
The high officials in court should feel ashamed,

One must preserve integrity from start to end,
Let not the heart be swayed by profit and rank.
